two utilities designed to make their work easier. The 1st, GS ROM Grabber
by Sarah Shepherd allows you to save an image of your IIGS' ROM to disk
for use with the emulators. The 2nd, DiskMaker by Eric Shepherd, has been
updated to version 1.1 and includes several bug fixes, including the user
option of preventing the user from from writing images to the wrong size
of disk. Both programs are shareware: GS ROM Grabber can be downloaded
at http://sarah.sheppyware.net/ DiskMaker can be downloaded from
http://www.sheppyware.net/products/a2/diskmaker/index.html Payment for
both products can be made online.

- Due to the number of people attending Kfest this year, an additional
floor's worth of rooms have been reserved for this year's not-to-be-missed
Apple II convention. While the "early bird" registration has passed,
registration is still open, and space is still available. More

- Besides the amount of Apple II information that will be available at
Kfest this year, a number of special prizes have been announced. These
include a ZipGSX, a FocusCard Hard drive, and a Palm PDA, as well as 20+
other items of interest to computer users. Contests this year include
HackFest, CansasFest, GSheisn, and others.

- The second batch of CompactFlash for Apple II cards has begun to ship.
This card allows Apple //e and GS users to use either an IDE drive or a
CompactFlash card for mass data storage. Kfest attendees this year will
be given a 10% discount on card orders. More information on the CFFA can
be found at: http://spudboy.dreher.net/CFforAppleII
